Bolt PR Summer Workshops: Publicity Basics for Small Businesses
Looking to get some publicity for your small business or start-up? This summer, Bolt PR (http://www.boltpr.com) is hosting a series of six hands-on workshops to help you grow your business through PR and social media. Ideal for solo entrepreneurs, business owners, or marketing directors looking to expand their understanding of publicity in the digital age, each workshop is limited to six professionals in order to create a personalized learning environment. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops. The cost to attend Publicity Basics for Small Businesses is $89 per workshop, or $450 for a summer pass to attend all six in the series.

What is the purpose of a press release and how
is it best utilized to generate exposure? We’ll discuss these questions and cover
best PR practices for online and traditional media.
Please bring a press release about your
business and a laptop, as we will go through the steps of posting it to online
newswires and PR strategies to secure media coverage. As part two of the
Perfecting the Press Release workshop, we will provide feedback on press
releases at the start of this workshop. All are welcome to attend; please be
sure to have a press release prepared.
